About Paws On The Go
🐾 Welcome to Paws On The Go, I'm Skye!
Paws On The Go was created from my genuine passion for dogs and a love for giving them the care, attention and adventures they deserve.
My own dog, Narla, has been a huge part of my journey and has taught me just how special the bond between a dog and their person really is. She’s also the reason I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your dog and to know they’re safe, happy and being treated as one of their own.
I offer group walks, solo walks, home visits and basic training, always taking the individual needs, personality and confidence of each dog into consideration.
Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are my priority. I am fully insured, DBS checked, first-aid trained, and hold qualifications in Animal Care and Animal Behaviour, alongside 6 years of experience working with dogs.
Whether your dog loves running around with their friends, prefers a one-to-one adventure, or simply needs some company while you’re away, I aim to make every visit something they genuinely look forward to.
Because at Paws On The Go, your dog isn’t just another booking — they’re part of the Paws On The Go family. 🤎🐶
My RSPCA Journey 🐾
Before starting Paws On The Go, I spent 6 years working for the RSPCA, where I gained so much of the knowledge, experience and understanding that I now bring into my own business.
Working with animals wasn’t just a job to me — it was my life and something I was incredibly passionate about. During my time there, I worked with animals from all different backgrounds, learning to understand their individual needs, behaviour and personalities.
I also had the privilege of fostering kittens and puppies, including hand-rearing those who needed extra care and round-the-clock attention. This is where my own cat Fluffy came from.
Those 6 years shaped the way I care for animals today and gave me a strong foundation in animal care, welfare and behaviour.
Everything I learnt there is something I carry with me into Paws On The Go
Your Dog, My Priority 🐾
Every dog is different, and I believe their care should be too.
I take the time to get to know each dog individually — their personality, behaviour, likes, dislikes and what makes them feel happy and comfortable. I want every dog in my care to feel safe, understood and excited for their time with me.
Whether they’re enjoying a group adventure with their friends, having a one-to-one walk or receiving a home visit, I always put their individual needs first.
For me, it’s not just about walking a dog — it’s about building a relationship with them and giving them the same care and attention I’d want for my own dog.
I send lots of updates to you from your dogs walk, so you can see exactly what they’ve been up to and how much fun they have had!.
🐾 What Happens When You Get in Touch?
Getting started with Paws On The Go is nice and simple! 💚
Once you get in touch, we’ll arrange a meet & greet at a convenient time. This gives me the chance to meet you and, most importantly, get to know your dog!
We’ll have a chat about your dog’s personality, routine, likes and dislikes, and anything else I need to know to make sure they’re happy and comfortable in my care.
We’ll also go through and complete the necessary paperwork, discuss exactly what you’re looking for and answer any questions you may have.
Once everything is sorted, we can book your walks in around your schedule and my availability — nice and easy! 🐾
